Draft plans Friedrich Kiesler

ARTWORK PHOTOGRAPHY

On behalf of the Austrian Frederick Kiesler and Lilian pivate foundation we have digitized around 30 draft plans.

A portion of plans includes designs for "The Shrine of the Book", another group shows designs for the  "Endless House"

The "Shrine of the Book" is the only realized building of Friedrich Kiesler, which was completed in 1965 in Jerusalem. To mark the 50th anniversary of the opening in April 1965, the Friedrich Kiesler private foundation presented this works at an exhibition.

The Museum of Modern Art New York commissioned Kiesler in 1958 with the development of a single-familiy house for the museum gardens - the Endless House. This house has not been realized to date. His ideas about this project Kiesler had documented in extensive sketches and models.
